At 15, Scott Cervine was one of the youngest to be accepted by the prestigious Magic Castle in Hollywood. An actor since 18 years of age, Scott has held guest starring roles in Lifetime’s, “Strong Medicine, NBC’s “3rd Rock from the Sun”, “Providence” and CBS’s, “JAG”. After 15 years of acting, Scott felt compelled to produce his own films.
In 1993, Scott developed “XTV”, a multi-media show incorporating video, film and live performance. In 1996, he received the Mark Goodson video award and an American Film Institute award for a satirical short entitled Crossfire, an irreverent look at the state of political journalism.
His most recent short film, Out of Proportion, played throughout the International film festival circuit and won the grand prize at the “Beverly Hills Short Film Festival” and was distributed worldwide by the “Spiritual Cinema Circle” on DVD.
Scott is a sought after director and editor throughout the indie film community. His unprecedented amount of respect among his clients and peers, garnered a successful career of writing, directing and editing nearly fourteen films to date.
In 2005, he and Brooke March co-founded, “Movies From The Heart”, a visionary group of film artists dedicated to making pictures that inspire, uplift and entertain. And was recently awarded the “Indigo Award-for Spiritual Humorist” by the Conscious Life Expo. Scott believes that film is one of the most profound mediums to infuse a message of social consciousness. He says, "My greatest passion is making films that remind people of who they truly are...and inspiring them to dream bigger than ever before.” Scott Cervine resides in Los Angeles.
