I was making a live action film once and thought it might be a little more entertaining if parts of it were animation. I made my first practice animation piece for a Mobifest/Butterfinger/Animation Show competition and it won. Now I'm back to being an unrecognized indy filmmaker, but the 15 minutes were nice. They put me in a fancy hotel and everything. The flirt with animation fame gave me a head-rush that I have been unable to overcome, so I've done some more stop-motion pieces that are viewable at my site and I'm currently locked away in Germany writing the next big thing.
