Based out of Toronto, Wade has been making short independent productions since 2003. Wade moved to Toronto from Fredericton, New Brunswick, in 2001 and started his performance career by signing up for improv classes at the Second City. In 2003 Wade and his best friend David split the cost of a digital video camera and started making short comedic videos under the name Shageen Shorts. Their brand of short, live action comedy has been recognized at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal and at the National Film Board Of Canada in Toronto.

In 2006 Wade found himself at Darryl’s Hard Liquor And Porn Festival in Toronto promoting his classically animated short film, T-SEX, in which two stick people have sex and then get eaten by a hungry, yet polite, dinosaur.

Wades most recent film, $4 HAIRCUT, celebrated its' world premier at the 2008 Hot Docs Film Festival. Having his short, six-minute documentary shown along side major documentary productions validates the hard, unrewarding work that he has put into each of his films.
